The key objective of the Jamaica Hospital League of Friends is to relieve sickness and preserve the good health of the citizens of Jamaica and in particular by providing assistance to the hospitals and health service.

• In order to achieve the objective a number of activities are undertaken to ensure the purpose of the organisation’s charitable status is maintained, including: Initiating and developing links between government health departments and the High Commission in the UK.
• Identifying and assist in areas of need within the Jamaican health care sector.
• Enabling hospitals and other healthcare facilities to procure equipment, supplies and resources as required.
• Promoting the Charity in order to increase support and membership.
• Organising regular fundraising events and promotions to improve health care sponsorship awareness.
